Our Boys Rec teams are moving to the fall this year.
Since this is our first season running the program in the fall, we’re unsure what registration numbers will look like. Our plan is to create set teams that will practice together and then compete against other teams during the second hour. If registration numbers are lower than expected, we will shift to a Train & Play format instead.

Players have to attend tryouts to be placed on a team. If you are unavailable to attend tryouts please fill out THIS FORM so we can evaluate you and place you on a team.
Team rosters will be posted by August 26th

Every player makes a team.
Teams are picked from 1 tryout evaluation. Players will be ranked by overall skill, position, hustle and attitude.
This allows players to develop on a team with similar skill sets since we have new players through varsity experienced players.
IHSAA rules state only 3 players from a rostered high school team can play together in the offseason and MHSAA rules state up to 4 players. We have to work to ensure we have team composition needs while adhering to these rules.
Each player gets 2 t-shirt uniform tops and a pair of shorts included in the fees. Sizes are selected at the time of registration.
Uniform pick up will be October 1st
We do have optional spirit wear that can be purchased. A link to the online store will be shared closer to season.
At practice, we want them to get as many touches on the ball doing things the right way. We want coaches and players engaged, active and learning. We believe in training all ages in all the volleyball skills to make well rounded players. As they progress, we will start to focus on position specific skills in addition to whole group training.
Games will be best 2 out of 3 and played at MFH. The teams will ref themselves during this hour of play. When it comes to playtime the goal is as close to equal playing time as possible. Younger ages will be trying all positions and as you get older you start to get put into positions then playtime will be less equal due to set positions.
We have a completely optional Bundt Cake fundraiser that will be ONLINE ONLY this year.
You will get 40% of the total sales off of your fee.
