Playing Experience:
Jenny played as a middle hitter and defensive specialist at White Pigeon High School, Michigan from
1986-1990. The team won conference in 1989 and 1990. Jenny was All Conference for her junior and
senior years, as well as Captain her senior year. Jenny also participated in basketball, she was All
Conference her senior year, and softball in her 4 years of high school. Jenny was voted Student Athlete
of the Week her senior year. She went on to play volleyball for 2 years at KVCC as a middle hitter,
defensive specialist, and Captain.

Coaching Experience:
Jenny started coaching for NIVA in 2017, starting the boys program. She started with the young group
10U and following her son through his career. The boys started in the recreational league, playing girls.
She is currently coaching 18U boys travel where they are playing in all boy’s tournaments.

Personal:
Jenny lives in Elkhart with her husband, Doug, and son Trevor. Jenny has coached Trevor for his career
in volleyball at NIVA, which started at the age of 8. Trevor played volleyball in 4th, and 5th grade at
Eastwood Elementary. Trevor is a senior at Elkhart High School and is on their volleyball team as well.
Their daughter, Abigail, lives in Carmel, and played travel volleyball for NIVA for 4 years. Jenny is at
Mary Beck Elementary as the Administrative Assistant and has been in that position for 11 years.
