I started playing volleyball when I was 11 years old (5th grade) and continued playing through my senior year of high school, including for the school team and club. I began playing club when NIVA was previously “Shank You. Right out of high school, I coached a season of club volleyball but then took a break to focus on work and college. A couple years ago, I got back into coaching and coached limited travel for 12U and fell back in love with coaching. Then I took a year off because I had my first baby, my beautiful daughter. Even with life’s milestones (finishing school, getting married, having a baby), playing volleyball never left my life. I have played at Wings Etc. in their beach league since I graduated high school in 2013 and have played some indoor rec ball as well. I’m excited to get back into coaching and raise my daughter around the sport I grew up playing!
