PLAYING EXPERIENCE:
Rachel was the starting varsity libero all four years, lettering every year at Penn High School. She was named MVP of the NIC her senior year after being ranked 19th in the state of Indiana, according to Max Preps. Rachel was named to the Indiana North Junior All-Star Team as a junior and senior.

Rachel is also a NIVA alum, having played on our National level travel teams from an early age!

After high school, Rachel went on to play at IUPUI for 2 seasons before transferring to South Alabama. While there, Rachel competed as the libero all three years at South.  In her final season as a Jag, she was named the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Libero of the Year and was a First Team All Conference Selection. In 2021, South Alabama made history by being the first in volleyball program to win the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and making an NCAA Tournament appearance! Rachel currently holds the record for digs per set at 4.52 at South. She accumulated over 2,000 digs and was named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week twice. In her time at IUPUI, Rachel tied the program record for digs in a three set match at 25 digs. On September 1, 2019, Rachel was named the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week.

She is currently playing professional volleyball with NIVA BB4.

COACHING EXPERIENCE:
Rachel returned home and coached at her alma mater serving as the Junior Varsity head coach at Penn High School for two seasons.

Rachel has coached club volleyball for many years: two at LAV in Mobile, Alabama, one at Empowered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and now has been with NIVA since 2023.

PERSONAL:
Rachel lives in Granger with her husband, Tyler, and dog, Luca.

She started in February 2024 with the Beacon Health Foundation as a Development Associate.
