PLAYING EXPERIENCE:
De’Jenea Forrester, aka DJ has been playing volleyball since elementary school.  She grew up in the Elkhart school system where she played varsity at Elkhart Memorial.  While there, her team had great success, including an NLC Championship, Sectional title and regional title.  DJ was also named all conference her junior and senior seasons and First Team All-State her senior year.  She also played basketball and ran track while at Elkhart.

DJ is also a NIVA alum.  She played for several years in the rec and travel program.

DJ decided to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Indianapolis for two seasons before transferring to Huntington University to pursue her master’s degree.

COACHING EXPERIENCE:
DJ has worked camps and clinics while in school and college.

She currently is the varsity 7th grade coach at West Side Middle School, her alma mater.

DJ has worked with our 14U-16U National level travel teams.

PERSONAL:
DJ graduated in winter ’22 with her masters degree in psychology.
