Ty Smith
COACHING EXPERIENCE:
Ty started coaching volleyball at Lanphier High School in Springfield, IL. He was the head varsity coach for 5 years. During his time at Lanphier he grew the program to have a freshman team and compete at all levels.
Ty also coached for the Springfield Shock AAU travel team for over 5 years. During the 2021-2022 season, he guided Shock 15 Regional to an outstanding club season, with a 27-10 season record.
PERSONAL:
Ty is originally from Chicago, IL and this will be his 1st year at NIVA. He loves coaching and walking his two dogs.
