Satellite Travel is designed for coaches and players who already have a team and want the flexibility to create a travel experience that fits their group.
No preset package. No one-size-fits-all season.
Each Satellite team works with NIVA to determine its tournament schedule, practice needs, equipment, services and other season expenses. Teams choose what they want to include, and NIVA builds the agreement around those selections.
Once the team's package is finalized, the total season cost is divided among the number of players on the final roster.

Satellite Travel gives established teams the flexibility to stay local while using NIVA's club infrastructure to compete in travel volleyball.
Build Your Team
Bring NIVA an established team with a head coach and/or assistant coach and a full roster of players.
Train Locally
Satellite teams set their own practice schedule. Practice space at Mishawaka Fieldhouse can be built into the team agreement, or teams may use another gym if they already have space available.
Build Your Package
Choose the tournaments, services, equipment and support your team needs. NIVA builds a customized package around those selections.

Keep the flexibility of operating within your own community while competing as part of NIVA.
What NIVA Can Handle
Every Satellite agreement is different. These are the services and resources that can be built into a team's customized package as needed.
Coverage for coaches operating as part of the Satellite program.
Player coverage can be handled through the team's NIVA package.
Choose from tournament options with entry fees and applicable AES/NIVA fees identified.
NIVA can handle tournament entries after the team selects its schedule.
Team uniform ordering can be coordinated through NIVA.
NIVA can manage the online systems used for team and player rosters.
MFH practice space can be built into the agreement when the team needs a gym.
Equipment can be included when a team needs it as part of its package.
NIVA can manage player registration for the Satellite team.
Player fees, coach pay, tournament payments and other team financials can be handled through NIVA.
Eligible coach hotel reimbursement can be managed through the team's financial package.
Video and game-analysis tools can be included for teams that want them.
Recruiting resources and support can be added for teams and players who need them.

Choose Tournaments
Coaches and teams select tournaments from NIVA's master list, including tournament entry and applicable AES/NIVA fees.
Book Your Hotels
Coaches book their own hotel accommodations. Eligible reimbursement can be handled through the team's NIVA financial package.
Choose Your Gym
Add MFH court space to the agreement or practice in another gym your team already has available.

Your Custom Satellite Package
Choose the tournaments, practice space, equipment and NIVA services your team wants. We calculate the complete season cost and divide it across your final roster.
Every Satellite team is different. There is no published one-size-fits-all cost because each agreement is built from the team's selections and final roster size.
